Available as Illustrator (CS2/CS4+) brushes, this highly realistic digital stitching can be applied to almost any shape (small, highly detailed shapes are not recommended - try larger shapes, lines, frames, etc.)

The brushes come in 16 colors, and they can be further customized in Illustrator using the "Recolor Artwork" feature. The second screen shot displays the brushes' elements: four tiles that make up the brush, a single thread graphic (not part of the actual brush, but very useful where just one single stitch is needed in your designs) and a line with the brush applied, as a sample. Each brush can be customized in the brushes palette in Illustrator. Set the brush at 10% for smaller stitches and finer work, or 50-70% for larger stitches, or adjust the stroke weight in the stroke palette. Change colors, draw shapes, paint lines. Possibilities are endless!
